Look no further than Sortly. It's an app that lets you quickly shoot pictures of your things before you stash them away.

Get some bins and label them (Ikea Samla tubs are very affordable). Create them in the app and put your items in them.

Now when you need to find something, just search for it in the app and it tells you what box it's in.

It looks like this software costs far more than it used to. While I still use it because I'm grandfathered in, I'm thinking HomeBox is a better solution.
